The complete journey, start to finish

Every stage shows what you do, what TS Newswire does, and which status your order shows at that point.

1

Visit & plan

Start with the plan, not a sales call

Everything you need to decide is public: package prices, named outlets, industry rules and turnaround times.

What you do

  • Compare packages on Pricing — price, outlet count, network focus and turnaround for each.
  • Open "View Included Outlets" on any package card to see the actual publications.
  • Check the editorial guidelines for your industry (health, finance, crypto, gambling, technology).

What happens

  • No account is needed to browse anything on the site.
  • Package and outlet data is live from our catalog, so what you see is what ships.
2

Build distribution

Choose a package or build your own network

Two ways to buy: a ready-made package, or a hand-picked outlet list from the Network catalog.

What you do

  • Browse the Network page and filter outlets by category, region and price.
  • Add individual outlets to your cart, or go straight to a package.
  • Add extras if you need them: newsroom writing, compliance review, translation or a white-label report.

What happens

  • Your cart shows the running total before you ever enter payment details.
  • Outlets that apply their own editorial review are labeled as such — no surprise rejections later.
3

Checkout & pay

Check out as a guest — no account required first

Enter contact and billing details, paste your release draft, and pay. Stripe hosts the payment.

Payment received

What you do

  • Fill in contact and billing details at checkout.
  • Write or paste your press release into the rich-text editor (you can also add it later).
  • Pay by card through Stripe — TS Newswire never sees your full card details.

What happens

  • Your order is created the moment checkout starts and its status updates automatically after payment.
  • The $1 free-release product uses this exact same checkout, just with TS-Newswire-only publication.
4

Account email

Your account is created for you

After payment, an account is tied to your checkout email and you receive a sign-in email — nothing to set up in advance.

What you do

  • Watch your inbox for the account email (check spam if it does not arrive within a few minutes).
  • Sign in with that same email — or create a password — to see your order in the dashboard.
  • If you ordered as a guest, the order links to your account automatically on first sign-in.

What happens

  • Every order and status email is tied to the checkout email address.
  • The dashboard becomes your single place to track review, edits and reports.
5

Submit draft

Set up your release details and submit the draft

Complete the release in the dashboard: headline, body, boilerplate, media contact and images.

DraftSubmitted

What you do

  • Open the order and use "Manage content" to finish the draft.
  • Add your company boilerplate, media contact (name, email, phone), website and optional logo or featured image.
  • Submit the draft for review — you can keep editing until review starts.

What happens

  • A complete submission means fewer "changes requested" round-trips.
  • You can request newsroom writing as an add-on instead of writing it yourself.
6

Editorial review

A human editor reviews every release

Your submission goes Under review: formatting, claims, links, contact details and industry-specific rules.

Under review

What you do

  • Wait for the review outcome — most reviews complete quickly; complex or regulated categories can take longer.
  • Keep an eye on your email and the dashboard for the status change.

What happens

  • Reviewers follow the published editorial guidelines, including stricter rules for health, finance, crypto and gambling.
  • If something can be fixed, you get specific notes rather than a silent rejection.
7

Approve or edit

Approved — or edits requested with notes

Most releases are approved after zero or one round of edits. Either way, you always know where things stand.

Changes requestedApprovedRejected

What you do

  • Approved: open the confirmation email link, review the final content and confirm it.
  • Changes requested: read the reviewer notes in your dashboard, revise the content, and resubmit — it re-enters review automatically.
  • Rejected (rare): the email explains why, and refund-policy rules apply.

What happens

  • Status emails are sent for submitted, under review, changes requested, approved, published and rejected.
  • Once approved, content is locked from casual edits — further changes go through support.
8

Distribute & report

Publication, distribution and your report

Your release goes live on the TS Newswire newsroom, out to your outlets, and live links build your report.

Published

What you do

  • Watch pickup links appear on your order in the dashboard as outlets publish.
  • Download or share your publication report with stakeholders or clients.
  • Reorder in one click, or upgrade a free release to wider distribution from the dashboard.

What happens

  • Every pickup records the outlet name, live URL, publication date and status — your report is the delivery record.
  • Not every outlet publishes every release; the report shows exactly which ones did.

Every status you will see

The same words appear on your dashboard, in status emails and on the order page.

Draft

Your order exists and you are still writing the release. Nothing is being reviewed yet.

Submitted

You submitted the content. It is queued for editorial review.

Under review

An editor is checking formatting, claims, links and category rules against the editorial guidelines.

Changes requested

The editor needs fixes. Notes are in your dashboard and email — revise and resubmit.

Approved

Content passed review. You get a confirmation email with a link to review the final version.

Published

Your release is live on the TS Newswire newsroom and (for paid packages) sent to your outlet list.

Rejected

The release could not be approved. The reason is included in the notification and refund rules apply.

Getting started

What is TS Newswire?

A self-serve press release distribution platform: compare packages, pick outlets, pay online and track everything from your dashboard.

TS Newswire is a press release distribution platform where you can compare ready-made distribution packages or build your own list of outlets, pay online, submit your announcement, and track review and publication from one dashboard — without needing a sales call.

Every order goes through a real editorial review before anything is distributed, and you get a publication report with live URLs once outlets pick up your release, not just a promise that it was "sent".

Free vs. paid distribution

Free publishing puts your announcement on TS Newswire only. Paid packages distribute it to external outlets too.

Free publishing (a $1 charge, used only to verify a real company and deter spam) gets your announcement a dedicated page on TS Newswire’s own newsroom, with the same editorial review as a paid order. It does not include distribution to any external outlet, wire service or search index.

Paid distribution packages add real, named external outlets on top of that TS Newswire newsroom page — the exact outlets depend on the package or custom list you choose. If you start with a free release and later want wider distribution, your dashboard has a "Distribute this release" option that reuses the same content instead of making you resubmit it.

Creating an account

You don’t need an account before you pay — checkout works as a guest, and an account is created automatically.

You can start an order and pay without creating an account first. After a successful payment, TS Newswire automatically links the order to an account matching your checkout email — sign in (or create a password) with that same email afterward and your order will already be there.

If you’d rather create an account up front, use Sign Up from the header. Either way, every order is tied to the email address used at checkout, so always use an email you can access later.

How TS Newswire works: the complete journey

Every stage from your first visit to your publication report: plan, build distribution, checkout, account email, submit a draft, review, approval or edits, distribution and reporting.

This is the full lifecycle of an order. You can start reading anywhere, but following it top to bottom is exactly what happens from the moment you land on the site to the moment your report is complete.

The short version: you plan using public pricing and outlet lists, pay online without needing an account first, receive an account email after payment, finish and submit your release from the dashboard, a human editor reviews it, you fix anything they flag, and once approved it is published and distributed while live pickup links build your report.

  1. 1

    Visit & plan

Compare packages and named outlets on Pricing and Network, and check the editorial guidelines for your industry. No account needed to browse.

  2. 2

    Build your distribution

Pick a ready-made package, or add individual outlets from the Network catalog to build a custom list. Extras like writing or compliance review are added at this stage.

  3. 3

    Checkout & pay

Enter contact and billing details, optionally draft your release in the editor, and pay through Stripe. Checkout works as a guest.

  4. 4

    Account email

After payment, an account is created for your checkout email and you receive a sign-in email. Guest orders link automatically the first time you sign in.

  5. 5

    Submit your draft

From the dashboard, finish the release: headline, body, boilerplate, media contact, logo and images. Submit when ready — you can keep editing until review starts.

  6. 6

    Editorial review

A human editor checks formatting, claims, links, contact details and industry-specific rules. Statuses move from Submitted to Under review.

  7. 7

    Approve or edit

Approved releases get a confirmation email with a link to sign off the final content. If edits are needed, the status is Changes requested with reviewer notes — revise and resubmit from the dashboard.

  8. 8

    Distribute & report

Your release goes live on the TS Newswire newsroom and out to your outlet list. Live pickup links appear on your order as outlets publish, building the publication report.

Choosing a package

Which package should I choose?

Compare packages by outlet count, network focus and turnaround on the Pricing page before you buy.

The Pricing page lists every active package with its price, approximate outlet count, network focus (for example business/financial vs. broad national coverage), typical turnaround and whether premium, editorial-review outlets are included.

Use "View Included Outlets" on any package card to see the actual named outlets before you buy — nothing is a mystery "network of thousands." If a package doesn’t fit, you can build your own list instead (see Publication network below).

Building your own outlet list

Browse the Network page to add individual outlets instead of buying a fixed package.

The Network page works like a catalog: search and filter outlets by category, region and price, then add the ones you want. The total price updates as you add outlets, and your selection carries into checkout the same way a package does.

This is the right option if you need specific named outlets (for example one finance-focused publication) rather than a bundled package.

Publication network

What is an outlet, and what does "editorial review" mean?

An outlet is a named publication in the network. Some accept every release; others review content before publishing.

Each outlet in the TS Newswire network is a named publication — you can see it, its category and its typical turnaround before you buy. Outlet detail pages note whether that outlet applies its own editorial review on top of TS Newswire’s review, and whether it’s more likely to require revisions for regulated categories (health, finance, crypto, gambling).

Distribution to an outlet is not the same as guaranteed publication by that outlet — outlets can still decline content that violates their own policies. See our editorial guidelines for the categories with extra review.

Placing an order

How to place a distribution order

Choose a package or outlets, add them to your cart, then complete checkout.

Placing an order takes four steps: pick a package (or build a custom outlet list), review it in your cart, complete checkout with your billing details, and pay. Your order is created the moment checkout starts, and its status updates automatically once payment succeeds.

  1. 1

    Choose distribution

Pick a package from Pricing, or add individual outlets from the Network page.

  2. 2

    Review your cart

Check the outlets/package, add-ons and total before continuing — you can remove items or keep shopping.

  3. 3

    Complete checkout

Enter your contact and billing details. You do not need an account first — see "Creating an account" above.

  4. 4

    Pay

Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Once payment succeeds you land on a confirmation page and your order appears in your dashboard.

Payments & billing

Payment methods and receipts

Checkout is hosted by Stripe and supports the payment methods available for your region.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe — TS Newswire never sees or stores your full card details. Available payment methods depend on your region and currency. Receipts and order records are tied to the email address used at checkout, so use one you can access for support later.

Refunds

See our refund policy for what’s covered if a release doesn’t publish.

TS Newswire’s refund guarantee covers releases that are not published as agreed. Full details are in our refund policy — see the Policies section in the footer, or contact support with your order reference for a specific case.

Account & login

Signing in and account access

Sign in with the email used at checkout to see all your orders in one dashboard.

Use Sign In with the same email you used at checkout — any orders placed as a guest with that email are automatically linked to your account the first time you sign in. If you forget your password, use "Forgot password" to reset it.

Your account email and first sign-in

What the account email contains, how to sign in the first time, and how guest orders get linked to your account.

You never need to create an account before buying. After a successful payment, TS Newswire creates (or reuses) an account for the email address you entered at checkout and sends you an account email with a secure sign-in link.

The first time you sign in with that email, any orders placed as a guest with the same address are linked to the account automatically — nothing to claim manually. If the email has not arrived after a few minutes, check spam, then use "Forgot password" with the same address to get in.

  1. 1

    Watch your inbox

The account email arrives at your checkout address shortly after payment. It contains a secure sign-in link.

  2. 2

Use the link, or Sign In with your email. You can set a password afterward so future sign-ins do not depend on email links.

  3. 3

    Find your order

Your order is already in the dashboard with its current status and a "Manage content" action for the release draft.

  4. 4

    Complete your profile

Optionally add your company details so future orders and reports carry consistent information.

Submitting your press release

How to submit your press release content

Write or paste your release at checkout, or edit it any time before it’s reviewed from your dashboard.

You can write your release content directly during checkout using the built-in rich-text editor, or ask our newsroom to write it for you as an add-on. Either way, you’re not locked in the moment you pay — you can keep editing the content from your dashboard right up until it enters review.

A complete submission includes: a headline, the release body, your company boilerplate, a media contact (name, email, phone), your company website, and optionally a logo or featured image. The more complete this is, the fewer "changes requested" round-trips you’ll see.

  1. 1

    Write or paste your draft

Use the rich-text editor at checkout for headline, body and formatting (bold, links, lists). You can also request newsroom writing instead.

  2. 2

    Add supporting details

Fill in your company boilerplate, media contact details, and an optional logo or featured image.

  3. 3

    Keep editing until review starts

From your dashboard, open "Manage content" on any order to update the draft — this works as long as the order is still Draft, Submitted, or Changes requested.

  4. 4

    Submit for review

Once you’re happy with the draft, it moves into editorial review automatically (or manually if you started as a draft).

After you order

How TS Newswire works, order to publication

Payment received → content submitted → editorial review → approval → distribution → publication report.

Every order — free or paid — moves through the same review pipeline. After payment, your release content is Submitted and goes Under review. Our team checks formatting, claims, links, contact details and category-specific rules (see editorial guidelines).

If something needs fixing, the order moves to Changes requested and you’ll see our notes in your dashboard — you can revise and resubmit. Once it’s ready, we mark it Approved and send you a status email with a link where you can review and confirm it before it goes live. After that it’s Published: visible on your TS Newswire newsroom page, and for paid packages, sent out to your outlet list. Once outlets pick it up, live links start appearing in your publication report.

  1. 1

    Payment received

Your order is created and content status starts at Draft or Submitted.

  2. 2

    Under review

Our team checks the release against editorial guidelines and your package’s requirements.

  3. 3

    Changes requested (if needed)

You get an email and dashboard notes; revise the content and it goes back into review.

  4. 4

    Approved

You get a status email with a link to review and confirm the final content.

  5. 5

    Published & distributed

Your TS Newswire newsroom page goes live; paid packages distribute to your chosen outlets.

  6. 6

    Publication report

Live pickup links appear in your dashboard as outlets publish, building your final report.

Can I edit my release after ordering?

Yes, from your dashboard, as long as the order hasn’t moved past review yet.

Open your order in the dashboard and use "Manage content" to change the headline, body, images, or media contact. This is available while the order is Draft, Submitted or Changes requested. Once an order is Approved or Published, further changes need to go through support since the content may already be with outlets.

What happens if my release needs changes or is rejected?

You’ll get an email and dashboard notes explaining what to fix, or why a release couldn’t be approved.

If a release needs edits before it can go out, its status becomes Changes requested and you’ll receive an email with our reviewer’s notes plus a link to see the details. Revise the content from your dashboard and it goes back into review automatically.

If a release can’t be approved at all (for example it violates editorial guidelines and can’t reasonably be fixed), its status becomes Rejected and the reason is included in the notification. See our editorial guidelines for the specific rules by industry.

Order statuses explained, one by one

What Draft, Submitted, Under review, Changes requested, Approved, Published and Rejected each mean, and what you should do at each one.

Your order has two layers: the payment/fulfillment status and the content status of the release itself. The content status is the one you will interact with most, and it appears identically in your dashboard, in status emails and on the order page — one vocabulary everywhere.

You only ever need to act on two statuses: Draft (finish and submit the content) and Changes requested (apply the reviewer notes and resubmit). Everything else is TS Newswire working, and you will get an email when it changes.

  1. 1

    Draft

The order exists and the release is still being written. Action: finish the content in the dashboard and submit it.

  2. 2

    Submitted

You submitted the content and it is queued for editorial review. Action: none — wait for review to start.

  3. 3

    Under review

An editor is checking the release against the editorial guidelines. Action: none; expect a status email with the outcome.

  4. 4

    Changes requested

The editor found issues that you need to fix. Action: open the reviewer notes on your order, revise the content, and resubmit — it re-enters review automatically.

  5. 5

    Approved

The release passed review. Action: open the confirmation email link, review the final content and confirm it so distribution can proceed.

  6. 6

    Published

The release is live on the TS Newswire newsroom and, for paid packages, distributed to your outlet list. Action: watch your publication report fill with live links.

  7. 7

    Rejected

The release could not be approved. Action: read the reason in the notification; the refund policy applies to unpublished releases.

Editorial review: exactly what we check

The checklist every release goes through before approval — formatting, claims, links, contacts and industry-specific rules.

Every release — free or paid — is reviewed by a human editor before it is approved for publication. The review is not a formality: outlets in the network trust TS Newswire content precisely because releases that arrive are formatted and legal-safe.

The reviewer works through a fixed checklist: headline accuracy (no clickbait or unsupported superlatives), dateline and company identification, verifiable claims with proper attribution, link count and link safety (no cloaked, affiliate or shortened URLs), working media contact details, and the category-specific rules for regulated industries such as health, finance, crypto and gambling.

Outcome is one of three things: Approved (you get a confirmation email), Changes requested (you get specific notes — this is the normal path for a first submission, not a failure), or Rejected (only when a release violates guidelines in ways that cannot reasonably be fixed).

  1. 1

    Format and completeness

Headline, dateline, body structure, boilerplate and media contact are all present and well-formed.

  2. 2

    Claims and attribution

Statistics, awards and results are sourced; "best/number one" style claims are supported or removed.

  3. 3

    Links

Links are direct, safe, and within the package limits; no shorteners, cloaks or affiliate parameters.

  4. 4

    Industry rules

Regulated categories are checked against the published per-industry editorial guidelines.

  5. 5

    Outcome

Approved, Changes requested with notes, or Rejected with a reason — always communicated by email and on the dashboard.

Handling "changes requested" without stress

Changes requested is the normal path for a first draft. Here is exactly how the revise-and-resubmit loop works.

When a reviewer marks a release Changes requested, nothing is wrong with your order — it simply means the editor found specific items to fix before the release can represent you (and TS Newswire) in front of outlets. Most first submissions go through exactly one round of this.

You will receive a status email, and the reviewer notes appear on the order in your dashboard. Typical notes ask for a softer claim ("guaranteed results" → "designed to"), a missing media phone number, an over-limit link, or required regulatory language for your industry.

  1. 1

    Read the notes

Open your order in the dashboard — each requested change is listed specifically, not as a generic rejection.

  2. 2

    Revise the content

Use "Manage content" to edit the release directly. The order stays editable while it is Changes requested.

  3. 3

    Resubmit

Submit again when done. The order returns to Under review automatically — no new order, no new payment.

  4. 4

    Repeat if needed

If the reviewer finds smaller remaining items, you may get another round; each round is documented on the order.

Reports

Reading your publication report

Reports list every outlet, its status, and the live URL once it publishes.

As outlets pick up your release, TS Newswire records each pickup — outlet name, live URL, publication date and status — directly on your order. You can open any order in your dashboard to see this list build up over time, click through to each live placement, and use it as your delivery record.

Not every outlet in a package publishes every release (see "What is an outlet?" above) — your report shows exactly which ones did, so you always know what you actually received.

Reordering and upgrading a free release

Turn a finished order into the next campaign with one click, or upgrade a free newsroom release to paid distribution.

When an order completes, it becomes a template. From the order in your dashboard you can reorder the same distribution for a new announcement — the package, outlets and saved content fields carry over so you only write the new release.

If you started with the $1 free press release, your dashboard shows a "Your press release is live" banner once it publishes. "Distribute this release" takes the exact published content into a paid package checkout — no re-upload, no rewriting. The new paid order links back to the original free order.

  1. 1

    Reorder a campaign

Open a completed order and choose reorder: same package or outlet list, fresh content.

  2. 2

    Upgrade a free release

On the live-release banner, choose "Distribute this release" and pick a package — the existing content is reused.

  3. 3

    Track both orders

The upgraded order links back to the free order it came from, so history stays connected in your dashboard.
