1. What we actually use
We separate cookies into necessary and optional. Optional cookies are off until you choose to allow them:
- Analytics and marketing (optional, only with your consent). If you allow them, we load Google Tag Manager, which may run analytics and advertising tags including Google, Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn and chat widgets. Nothing in this group loads until you accept it, and you can withdraw consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
- Customer account sessions (necessary). When you sign in to your TS Newswire account, your session is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie — it isn’t sent to us automatically with every request the way a cookie is.
- Payment processors. When you check out, Stripe and/or PayPal may set their own cookies on their own pages to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. We don’t control these — see Stripe’s and PayPal’s own cookie policies.
