What gets accepted, reviewed or rejected

Usually accepted

  • Funding rounds, earnings, product and partnership announcements
  • Named company, entity and executive details
  • Risk-aware, non-promissory language about market performance

May require review

  • Forward-looking statements without a standard disclaimer
  • Comparisons to competitor performance
  • Fintech products operating in a regulated category

Common rejection reasons

  • Missing risk disclosure on performance claims
  • Unverifiable "market leader" or superlative claims
  • Ambiguous entity structure (fund vs. company vs. product)

Not accepted

  • Guaranteed returns or "no risk" investment claims
  • Unlicensed offering of securities or investment advice
  • Pump-style copy encouraging urgent buying
