This policy describes the content we will and will not distribute. It applies to every release submitted through TS Newswire, regardless of package or tier, and works alongside the outlet-level standards in our Editorial Standards.
Content we do not distribute
- Content that is illegal, defamatory, or that infringes another party's intellectual property or publicity rights
- Hate speech, harassment, or content that threatens or incites violence
- Unsubstantiated medical, health, or clinical efficacy claims ("cures," "eliminates," etc.) not supported by a named study or regulatory filing
- Guaranteed-return or risk-free investment language, or promotion of unregistered securities offerings
- Content designed primarily to manipulate search rankings rather than communicate genuine news (link farms, keyword-stuffed releases)
- Malware, phishing links, or any content intended to compromise a reader's device or accounts
- Adult content, or content promoting gambling or controlled substances where not properly licensed and disclosed
- Impersonation of another person, company, or organization
- Spam: bulk-identical releases with only cosmetic changes, submitted to inflate pickup counts
Content that requires additional review
Some categories are not prohibited outright but go through additional editorial review before distribution, consistent with the compliance notes on our industry pages:
- Healthcare and biotech releases citing clinical or regulatory claims
- Fintech and crypto releases, particularly those mentioning investment products
- Law firm and professional services releases discussing case outcomes
- Releases naming a specific national outlet as a guaranteed placement
Consequences of a violation
Releases that violate this policy will be held for revision or declined outright, at our discretion, before distribution. Repeated or serious violations — including submitting content we've already declined under a different account — may result in account suspension without refund of fees already incurred for editorial review.
Reporting a concern
